TOWN OF HOLDEN
ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS
HEARING

Edward Driscoll                                                                                  Case No. V 0609

The Zoning Board of Appeals held a public hearing on Thursday, July 27, 2006 at 7:00 p.m. in Memorial Hall, 1196 Main Street, Holden, MA on the Petition of Edward Driscoll for property located at 16 Sheffield Way for a Variance for relief from side yard setback requirements for an above ground pool. Member of the Board in attendance: Ronald Spakauskas, Roy Fraser, Fred Lonardo and James Deignan.

The Chairman called the hearing to order. Since there were no objections, reading of the legal notice and list of abutters was waived. The secretary read the Application and Findings of Fact.

Mr. Driscoll addressed the Board and gave an overview of the case. He has a terrace back lot and the side of his house is the only place the pool can be located.

R. Fraser asked if the applicant had any plans to add a deck; he said no.

R. Spakauskas commented that should there be a plan in the future to add a deck, it would have to go to the house side only and stop at ten (10) feet from the property line. Mr. Driscoll repeated that he had no plans for a deck.

Since there were no further comments or questions, the public hearing was officially closed at 7:15 p.m.

The Board voted unanimously to approve the variance.
